Two men were killed and three were injured as a truck rammed into a stationary pick-up jeep near Jawaharpur village here in the wee hours of Monday.
The truck was coming from the Ambala side when it rammed into the loaded pick-up jeep.
According to eyewitnesses, the jeep’s tyre got punctured and the men were replacing it when the truck hit the vehicle at around 3am.
One of the deceased has been identified as truck driver Pradeep, a native of Uttarakhand.
The victims were rushed to the local civil hospital, police said.
