Ludhiana, June 1
Three armed robbers on Wednesday looted cash at gunpoint from Punjab Roadways bus conductor near Ladhowal toll plaza here.
The scooter- and motorcycle-borne robbers had threatened to shoot the driver.
The incident occurred about two kilometre away from the Ladhowal police station. They fled towards Phillaur where there is a permanent police naka but still managed to escape.
Bus drivers reportedly blocked the highway near the Ladhowal toll barrier.
