After two jail inmates escaped from police custody during their transportation from Mukerian to Faridkot, the police have registered a criminal case against six police employees, including three ASIs, a head constable and two homeguard jawans, for negligence.
ASIs Gurdev Singh, Baljinder Singh and Kulwinder Singh, Head Constable Surinder Kumar and Home Guard jawans Mohinder Singh and Harmander Singh have been booked under Section 223 of the IPC.
