Muktsar, October 25
The Transport Department officials recently impounded six private buses and issued a challan to a bus for not having the required documents here. The officials said five buses were impounded at the Muktsar bus stand and one bus of the Northern Transport was impounded and another challaned in Malout. The Transport Minister had claimed PUNBUS and PEPSU were earning profit of Rs 40 lakh per day after strict action against illegal buses and mafia. — TNS
