New Delhi, June 16
Following a high-level meeting on Tuesday, six prominent personalities from Punjab on Wednesday joined the BJP at the party headquarters in Delhi in the presence of state unit president Ashwani Sharma and state affairs in charge Dushyant Gautam.
They include former AISSF president Harinder Singh Kahlon, advocates Jagmohan Singh (Patiala) and Nirmal Singh (Mohali), Kuldeep Singh Kahlon from Gurdaspur and former Vice-Chancellor Jaswinder Singh Dhillon and Col Jaibans Singh from Patiala
Though the new BJP entrants are not considered mass leaders, the joining is considered significant in view of perceptions.
