In yet another seizure of mobile phones from the premises of the Central Jail, seven more handsets have been recovered from the jail in two separate cases, following which two jail inmates have been booked.
Assistant Jail Superintendents Gurnam Singh and Sukhwant Singh said during the frisking of prisoners, two mobile phones were recovered from undertrials Ashu Monga of Rakhri village and Vicky of city area, from barrack number two of the jail. The accused have been booked under the Prisons Act. In another seizure, four mobile phones were recovered during a search of the jail premises. — OC
