Faridkot, February 6
A 32-year-old man allegedly killed his two children and injured his wife before turning the gun on himself at Narain Nagar here on Saturday morning.
Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Karan Kataria, a private contractor, used his licensed revolver to shoot at his two children—seven-year-old son and three-year-old daughter—and his wife in the morning.
Then, Karan shot himself. While Karan and children died on the spot, his seriously injured wife was admitted to the local Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital.
SP (D) Sewa Singh Malhi said the police were investigating the incident.
