The Sangrur police claimed to have arrested 11 criminals involved in organised crime and thefts from different locations of the district. Police have started further investigations.
“Since all the arrested persons are hardcore criminals, who were involved in heinous crimes , their arrest will help in bringing down the crime in Sangrur district,” said Swapan Sharma, SSP, Sangrur, while addressing mediapersons.
Police have also seized a .32 bore pistol with two live cartridges, another pistol of 315 bore with five live cartridges and one scooter.
