Fazilka, September 29
Villagers and family members of a deceased, who was killed in a road mishap, blocked the Fazilka-Ferozepur highway near Ladhuka Mandi for the second consecutive day today over the alleged police inaction in the accident case.
Sources said Manjit Singh, a resident of Dhunkian, was returning home after buying some household goods from Ladhuka Mandi. A four-wheeler, reportedly belonging to wine contractors, allegedly hit his bike resulting in his death. — OC
