Abohar: The bodies of two youngsters — Kiran (22) and Davinder Kumar (23) — of Patrewala village were recovered from Gang Canal near Kaluwala village in Sriganganagar on Friday afternoon. ASI Mohan Lal Sharma of Jawahar Nagar police station, said the bodies were tied with a dupatta. Both had gone missing from their respective homes on Oct 20. OC

13-yr-old raped, two booked
Abohar/Sriganganagar: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two youths in Rawatsar Hanumangarh. On the complaint of the victim’s father, a case was registered against Vikas and Amit. The girl said she befriended Vikas online, who took her objectionable photos and started blackmailing her. Later, his friend Amit, who reportedly runs an NGO, called her to distribute gifts to children on behalf of the NGO and took her to a hotel room and raped her. OC
