Congress’ former Amritsar South MLA Harjinder Singh Thekedar has joined former CM Capt Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress.

Thekedar, who had thrown his weight around Capt Amarinder during his duel with PCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, said he had quit the Congress. Thekedar had been associated with the Congress since 1978 and served as the chairman, Backward Classes Land Development and Finance Corporation.
