Amritsar, December 18
The SGPC has urged the Centre to release Balwant Singh Rajoana, convicted of assassinating former CM Beant Singh, and other Sikh prisoners languishing in various jails.
A delegation would soon meet Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard, said SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami after a meeting of the Dharam Prachar Committee here today. — TNS
