Bathinda boy Mrinal Garg secures AIR 5 in JEE Mains, tops Punjab as well as region

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday declared the results of IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains Session-2 wherein city boy Mrinal Garg has once again performed outstandingly. This time Garg has not only topped in Punjab but has earned All India Rank 5 by emerging as the regional topper.

Garg was among the toppers along with 13 others from across the country who scored 300 marks out of 300 in the JEE Mains Session-1 exam, which was declared on July 11 last month. He is perusing his coaching from Chandigarh based Sri Chaitanya. Mrinal is a scholar of NTSE, KVPY and qualifier of IOQC and INMO.

Mrinal, who devoted almost 14 hours a day to his studies, credits this achievement to his parents along with teachers of Sri Chaitanya. Emphasizing on hard work and smart work, he said that following model and sample papers, revision and disciplinary schedule is the key to success. Mrinal’s father is a businessman while mother is a housewife.
