Home Minister Amit Shah called for a resolution between Punjab and Haryana regarding the affiliation of Haryana colleges with Panjab University. Shah emphasized that both states should come to a mutual decision, despite the allowance for such affiliations in the new National Education Policy. However, no conclusive decision was reached during the meeting. Punjab has strongly opposed the move, while Haryana’s Chief Minister advocated for affiliations with Panjab University. Other topics discussed in the meeting included cyber-crime prevention and the expeditious disposal of sexual offense cases.
