Abohar, August 25
Four persons were killed and five injured as the cars in which they were travelling collided near Khunichak (Singhpura) village on the Sriganganagar-Suratgarh stretch of NH-15 today.
Ghamurwali police station incharge Pawan Sharma said both vehicles were badly damaged. Some passersby stopped at the site of the accident and informed the police and highway ambulance. Three persons died on the spot while another succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. Three of the deceased have
been identified as Baldev Singh (60), Gurmeet Kaur (44) and Pooja (27).
