Unknown protesters protesting against centre’s Agnipath scheme mainly led by youth damaged the railway property at Ludhiana railway station on Saturday.
Railway police and Ludhiana police rushed to the spot to control the situation.
Protesters damaged the windowpanes of the main entrance and offices at railway station.
Some protesters had also entered the nearby gurdwara after resorting to damage where a few were detained by police.
After the incident, entire railway station and its surrounding areas were cordoned off by the force..
