The AAP has approved the two more names of candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Punjab.
The party has approved the names of Padma Shri awardee and environment activist and social worker Balbir Singh Seechewal and entrepreneur, educationist and social worker Vikramjit Singh Sahney for the Rajya Sabha.
The duo are expected to file their nominations on Monday.
The last date for filing of nominations is May 31.
It is unlikely that Opposition parties will field any candidates for the RS polls, which are due on June 10.
Balbir Singh Seechewal and Vikramjit Singh Sahney are AAP nominees for Rajya Sabha
