After the completion of the 15-day deadline to complete the probe into the Behbal Kalan police firing case, the Insaaf Morcha today rejected a proposal of Cabinet Minister Harjot Bains to give them more time to investigate the matter.

Members of the morcha announced that they would call a meeting of all Sikh organisations on July 31 and start a statewide stir from August 1 as the government was using dilly-dallying tactics.

They have been sitting on a dharna on Bathinda-Amritsar Road at Behbal Kalan for the past seven months.
