Abohar, December 5
A woman was killed while her spouse was injured when a stray bull hit their bike on the Abohar-Fazilka stretch of the NH-10 near Nihalkhera village on Sunday.
The body of the deceased has been kept in the mortuary of the Sub-divisional Civil Hospital here and her husband is also admitted there.
Mani Ram of Gobindgarh village said he was on his way to attend a wedding in Fazilka with his wife on a bike. When they reached near Nihalkhera, a stray bull suddenly came on the road and the bike collided with the animal. They victims were taken to a hospital where the woman was declared dead by the doctors. — OC
