The AAP state unit today condemned the killing of farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri, saying just as the British and maharajas used to trample the common man under elephants, BJP governments both at the Centre and Uttar Pradesh were doing the same to its people.
Heights of oppression

Punjab affairs co-incharge Raghav Chadha along with Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema said an AAP delegation would visit Lakhimpur Kheri to take stock of the situation.
Cheema condemned the incident saying it was a “black day” in the history of the BJP government.
The Yogi government had created an emergency-like situation in Uttar Pradesh, he added. — TNS
