Ferozepur, July 2
As a goodwill gesture, the BSF today handed over a 3-year-old boy, who had inadvertently crossed over to the Indian territory, back to the Pakistan Rangers.
As per BSF sources, the troops belonging to 182 battalion deputed on duty at Barreke border outpost in this sector, spotted a child coming towards the Indian territory on Friday night. He did not speak anything except the word “papa”.
Later, the kid was identified as Ahmad, a resident of Doni village. Thereafter, the BSF officials contacted Pakistan Rangers on Friday night and handed over the child back to them on Saturday. — OC
