Bathinda, December 18

Shiromani Akali Dal leader Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon, owner of New Deep Bus Service, today said they would take legal action against the Punjab Government and Transport Minister Amrinder Singh Raja Warring for allegedly causing financial loss and tarnishing their reputation by illegally impounding the company’s buses.

Dhillon claimed Warring had misused his position for vendetta by impounding their buses without a valid reason. The decision to cancel permits was revoked on the directions of the High Court and the Supreme Court further refused to interfere in the lower court’s order. “This proved there was no wrongdoing on our part and Warring took action against us out of personal resentment,” he claimed.

He would file a lawsuit against the Punjab Government and the minister for causing damage to his reputation and financial losses, claimed Dhillon.
