Heading towards the dais to address the gathering, some youngsters start clicking selfies and Goldy obliges all.
“I know you all are feeling cheated by the AAP government in Punjab as within days they have lost your trust. They promised moon, but could not bring even slightest improvement. They don’t know how to run a state,” says Goldy amid applause.
He touches all main issues, including worsening law and order and lack of power among others, being faced by residents. “Murders are taking place daily in Punjab, gangsters have started making extortion calls to traders and things are taking a worse turn. But our ministers are claiming that they will bring prosperity to Punjab. I request you to not repeat the mistake again and vote only for the Congress,” says Goldy.
“The AAP has come into power with a negative mindset and their only aim is to hog limelight on social media and nothing more. The roadshow of CM Bhagwant Mann has been rejected by residents during the past two days and many videos are going viral that how he is roaming alone without any crowd,” he adds.
On Friday, Goldy visited various villages, including Bhutal Kalan, Lehal Kalan, Ballran, Hotipur, Khanauri, Bhai Ki Pashore and Lehra.
His speech is full of factual examples hitting the government hard on various decisions. At meetings, Goldy touches the feet of the elderly, shakes hands with youngsters and allows everyone to click selfies with him. He even didn’t forget to mention the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.
“You have given a big punishment to us by not voting fror us during the Assembly elections for minor mistakes and now it’s your turn to rectify those by punishing the AAP leaders, who have cheated you,” he tells the gathering.
Goldy signs off by saying, “Rabb sabh nu chardi kala vich rakhe.”
