Former Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh will on Tuesday arrive in Delhi. He may meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Though, there is no official confirmation of the meeting yet.
The proposed Singh-Shah meeting has triggered intense speculation about the Punjab Congress leader joining the BJP.
After prolonged infighting in the Punjab Congress, the party high command had asked Captain Amarinder Singh to step down from the Chief Minister post. This comes after Navjot Singh Sidhu was appointed Punjab Congress unit chief.
