New Delhi, September 29
Former Punjab Chief Minister and Congress leader Capt Amarinder Singh has reached Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to meet him.
The visit comes at a time when the Punjab Congress is grappling with crisis after the resignation of Navjot Singh Sidhu as state president.
It is his Amarinder’s first visit to the national capital after he resigned as Punjab Chief Minister on September 18.
Before leaving for Delhi, Capt Amarinder, at the Chandigarh airport, had said, “I have to go for some work which I am going for. I have to hand over the Kapurthala House.”
He added that the media was “unnecessarily indulging in speculation”.
