Starting from October 1, new flight routes will connect Kullu and Shimla in Himachal Pradesh with Amritsar in Punjab. Flights on the Kullu-Amritsar route will operate three times a week, while air services for the Shimla-Amritsar route will begin on November 1. The introduction of these air services aims to benefit tourists, business travelers, and overseas residents of Himachal Pradesh. The Himachal Pradesh government is also focused on enhancing air connectivity and establishing heliports to promote tourism and economic development in the region.
