Fazilka: Vinod Kumar and his wife Namita Devi, residents of Hiranwali village, have begun a fast unto death to protest the setting up of a liquor unit in Hiranwali village of Fazilka district. Vinod Kumar said they could not allow political leaders ruin the future of their children. Anil Jhinjha, sarpanch of the village, said an indefinite dharna and blockade of the national highway near Hiranwali Maur on the Fazilka-Abohar highway had entered the ninth day on Tuesday. OC
