A day after meeting PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, Punjab CM Charanjit Channi will on Friday meet top party leaders, including Punjab affairs incharge Harish Rawat, in New Delhi.
A final nod to the decisions arrived at in Thursday’s meeting between Sidhu and Channi is expected in the meeting. On agenda are the fresh developments in the party after Capt Amarinder Singh announced to part ways with the Congress.
Sources said the party leadership wanted to be sure its flock of MLAs remained intact in the event of Amarinder trying to woo party MLAs.
