End blockades in Punjab’s interest: Capt to farmers

Samana, January 6

Former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today urged farmers to stop blocking roads and railway tracks and instead focus on what is in theirs and Punjab’s interest.

As the PM was supposed to inaugurate projects worth Rs 43,000 crore, which included a few hospitals and roads, all these have now got delayed, said the former CM, adding he was willing to support farmers like he did in the past.

He lashed out at the Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa for “running away from their responsibilities”. He also criticised the CM for not receiving the PM personally at the Bathinda airport. — TNS
