Farmers to leave for Delhi

Fazilka, May 21

The Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) has assigned duties to its activists in Fazilka district to moblise farmers in villages to participate in the ‘black day’ event being organised at Tikri and Singhu borders on the completion of six months of the agitation on May 26.

A meeting in this regard was held at the market committee office, Jalalabad, by the office-bearers of the union led by district president Joginder Singh Ratta Khera. The farmers said they would wear black badges, display black flags on their houses and vehicles and burn the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to protest the three agricultural laws on May 26. — OC
