Bathinda, October 11
SAD former minister Sikander Singh Maluka today organised a political meeting in support of SAD candidate Jagmeet Singh Brar at Chauke village in the Maur Assembly segment. Both SAD leaders on the same stage sent out a message of unity to the party cadre.
Addressing the party supporters, Maluka said: “We wanted to do this meeting earlier, but I had to undergo a surgery, due to which it got delayed. I had assured Jagmeet Brar that all party workers would accept the party decision and support him.”
Maluka advised Brar to take everyone along. “Although Brar is a senior leader and has a long political experience, he is new to this segment. It is my duty to make him aware of the ground realities,” Maluka said. Calling Maluka his elder brother, the SAD’s Maur candidate assured him of following his advice. — TNS
