Chandigarh, October 4
Minister for School Education, Higher Education, Sports and NRI Affairs Pargat Singh today directed formation of expert panels to advise on smooth functioning of departments as per ground realities.
Pargat said a committee of educationists and teachers had been constituted for the School Education Department, prominent writers along with educationists for the Higher Education and Languages Department, renowned sportspersons for the Sports department and top notch NRIs for the NRI Affairs department. He said eminent professionals’ far-sightedness and experience would be effectively utilised and the departments would be run in line with the opinion of the experts. He said as all departments were interconnected, coordination should be further improved. — TNS
