Faridkot: The Faridkot police have busted a gang of tree-guard thieves. A junk dealer is said to be the kingpin of the gang. Once a sapling is planted, a tree-guard is generally installed around it to protect it from stray animals. The police arrested junk dealer Harpreet Singh, alias Gora, in this regard. TNS
