Sangrur, July 14
The interrogation of gangster Bagga Khan and a local property dealer in a case pertaining to the seizure of 75 kg of heroin at Mundra Port is being done by the Gujarat Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) at the Malerkotla Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) office.
The CIA had brought the gangster on a production warrant from the Faridkot jail two days ago and had procured his police remand till July 19.
SSP Alka Meena said, “A couple having an import and export licence was allowed to go home after questioning. The ATS is grilling another property dealer, who is a licence holder’s neighbour and is also known to Khan. The neighbour had contacted the licence holder to import fabric (glace cotton) from Dubai.”
