The girls of border district Ferozepur proved their mettle in Class XII CBSE exams. Nainika, a student of commerce stream at Dass and Brown World School, secured 99.6 per cent.
Nainika said she used to study around 10 hours daily. “I believed in my teachers and never attended coaching classes,” Nainika said and added that she wants to become a chartered accountant. Prishita Mishra from the same school got 99.4 per cent.
In Jalandhar, Palkit Sidhu of MGN Public School and Moksha Bansal of Shiv Jyoti Public School secured 99.4 per cent (commerce), respectively.
“I always remained relaxed and never took any pressure before exams,” said Palkit, daughter of Rajeshwar Sidhu, who is posted as AIG (CID) in Jalandhar.
Moksha said, “I got full marks in all subjects during term exams. Thus, my teachers and parents had a lot of expectations from me.”
In Bathinda, Seerat Kular of St Kabir Convent School secured 99 per cent in medical stream. Chandanjot Kaur (non-medical) of St Kabir Convent Senior Secondary School, Megha Garg (commerce) of St Xavier’s Convent School and Diya Arora (humanities) of Delhi Public School secured 98.2 per cent each.
