Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu on Thursday said he has raised his concerns regarding Punjab and state Congress with the party high command.
“I have full faith in the Congress president, party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka that they will take a decision in favour of Punjab and state Congress. I will always follow their orders,” Sidhu said after meeting AICC general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal and general secretary in-charge of Punjab Harish Rawat at the Congress headquarters.
Sidhu, escorted by Punjab Police, reached AICC headquarters at 6.30 pm to discuss organisational matters pertaining to Punjab Congress.
This was the first official meeting Sidhu is attending since posting his resignation on Twitter on September 28.
His presence at AICC headquarters is indicative of his expected continuation in the post.
