New Delhi, September 3
As Punjabi singer Yo Yo Honey Singh faces a case of domestic violence filed by his wife Shalini Talwar, a Delhi court on Friday counselled the couple in an attempt to sort out their differences.
Metropolitan magistrate Tania Singh called the estranged couple to her chamber and counselled them for around 90 minutes.
The court allowed Shalini to visit her matrimonial home on Sunday with two lawyers and a protection officer to collect her belongings. The visit will be video-graphed. It also asked the couple not to indulge in any unhealthy conversation during the visit.
The judge posted the matter for further hearing on September 28.
Talwar was represented by advocate Sandeep Kapur while advocate Rebecca John appeared for Singh.
The court will also take up Talwar’s plea for interim compensation and residence. It asked her to submit her bank account statement and income affidavit in the next 10 days. — TNS
