IPS Sahota will be the new Punjab Director General of Police.
His name has been cleared by the Chief Minister’s Office.
The 1986-batch IPS officer Sidharth Chattopadhyaya, 1987-batch officer VK Bhawra and 1988-batch officer Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota were in contention for the post.
