Abohar, September 9
A Special Court (1) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) cases today sentenced a private school bus driver to seven-year rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 after he was found guilty of committing obscene acts with a 4-year-old girl. Failure to pay the fine will result in further imprisonment of one year.
While disposing of the case registered on May 10, 2019, the court convicted bus driver Vinod Bishnoi (38). He was in judicial custody since his arrest. — OC
