Chandigarh, October 11

Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be on a two-day visit to Punjab beginning Tuesday.

Party’s Punjab affairs co-incharge and Delhi Legislator Raghav Chadha, addressing mediapersons here today, said the AAP leader would arrive at the Amritsar airport around 3 pm on Tuesday and offer prayers at Jalandhar’s Devi Talab temple in the evening. “On the holy festival of Navratras, Kejriwal will pray for peace, love, mutual brotherhood and a prosperous Punjab,” said Chadha.

Sources say Kejriwal will also meet some prominent industrialists in Jalandhar. Party’s Member of Parliament and state president Bhagwant Mann, who has been missing from party’s different fora for some time, is expected to be present in Jalandhar.

Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema and state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat were also present.
