Muktsar, July 28

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was presented before a local court around 6.40 am today, which extended his police custody by four more days in connection with the murder of financier Ranjit Singh, alias Rana Sidhu.

Rana was killed by four armed men at Aulakh village on the Muktsar-Malout Road on October 22, 2020.

Bishnoi was brought on transit remand from Hoshiarpur on July 21. Earlier, the court had sent him to seven-day police custody.

He would be produced before the court on August 1.

Bishnoi, along with Canada-based Goldy Brar, are among the masterminds of singer Sidhu Moosewala’s killing.
