The Malout court on Wednesday extended police remand of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi till August 1 in a murder case of Rana Sidhu.
Rana, a financier, was murdered at Aulakh village near Malout town in 2020.
Amid tight security cover, Bishnoi, the alleged ‘mastermind’ of Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, was produced in the local court around 6.40 am.
He was taken back in 20 minutes. The court has extended police remand for four days. Bishnoi will be produced in the court again on August 1.
He was brought here on transit remand from Mansa on June 28.
