AAP MLA from Ropar Amarjit Singh Sandoa has alleged district officials didn’t give two hoots to directions issued by CM Charanjit Channi to reach office in time. Sandoa also alleged some officials even didn’t bother to resolve the problems being faced by people despite repeated requests.
Channi has directed all government officers and employees at state, district, tehsil and block levels to reach their offices by 9 am and remain available till office hours. The MLA reached around 9.15 am at Water Supply and Sanitation Department and reportedly didn’t find Xen Harjit Singh. Officials present, however, claimed he had gone to attend an urgent meeting. — TNS
