On Punjab Police input, Gujarat ATS recovers 75 kg heroin worth Rs 375 crore at Mundra port

Chandigarh, July 12

Based on inputs provided by the Punjab Police, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) seized nearly 75 kg of heroin estimated to be worth over Rs 375 crore from a container near the Mundra port in Kutch district.

Based on the tip off, the ATS searched the shipping container, which arrived from another country some time back and was kept at a container freight station outside the port. The ATS found nearly 75 kg of heroin concealed in the cargo, the official said.
