The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission comprising president Sanjiv Dutt Sharma and member Yuvinder Singh Matta has awarded the secretary of the Dalla Multipurpose Cooperative Agriculture Service Society in Chamkaur Sahib tehsil an imprisonment of two years for not complying with orders. The commission has also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on him, failing which he will have to undergo another year of sentence.
