Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has ordered the withdrawal of cases registered against members of farmer organisations by RPF during their dharnas on railway tracks.

He has written to the RPF Chairman for immediate implementation of this.

The CM also removed the income limit for Ashirwad Scheme girl beneficiaries who have lost both parents during Covid.

The CM also approved family pension for government employees appointed after January 1, 2004
