Punjab CM Charanjit Channi speaks to Amit Shah, says man who died in Ludhiana blast was suspected to be carrying IED

In connection with the Ludhiana blast case, CM Charanjit Singh Channi on Friday spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

He told Shah that it is suspected that the man who died at the blast spot was carrying the IED.

Central agencies are examining the explosive material (RDX) used.

In the Kapurthala case, the CM ruled out sacrilege. He said the investigation indicated that it was a case of murder. The relevant section in the FIR would be modified on Friday, he added.
