Punjab Police DSP honoured for peacekeeping operations in South Sudan

Chandigarh, October 22

As many as 24 Indian police officers and paramilitary forces officers, including Punjab Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjeevan Guru, were honoured for exemplary peacekeeping operations in the Bentiu state of South Sudan. Guru is currently serving as an Operation Officer at a field office in Bentiu. Earlier, he was posted as the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Punjab Police Officers Institute in Sector 32, Chandigarh. — TNS
