Punjab Vigilance Bureau has launched an inquiry against DSP Gursher Singh Sandhu over allegations of amassing disproportionate assets and purchasing disputed properties at cheaper rates. Sandhu’s dismissal was recently cleared by the Punjab government for not cooperating in a probe related to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s TV interview.
