Private schools in Haryana have objected to a decision by the Board of School Education to block detailed mark cards (DMCs) of students whose teachers have not paid fines for missing invigilation duties during board exams. The Federation of Private Schools Associations has called for a review of the decision and a refund for teachers who have already paid the fine. They have also expressed disappointment that staff from private schools are not eligible for state awards for teachers. The education department is currently considering the requests made by the federation.
